On a sunny Thursday evening in April, thousands of guests arrived at the Cotton Ranch in Katy, Texas, for the Cotton Foundation’s tenth annual CrawFest. Every year, this signature event raises money to help the Foundation enact its mission of Restoring Hope to children and families impacted by disasters and illnesses.

Cotton Crawfest 2021

On May 27, 2021, Cotton Foundation hosted 2,100 guests at Cotton Worldwide headquarters in Katy, Texas. This year’s event raised nearly $440,000 for the Foundation’s Taylor’s Place initiative. Guests dined on over 6,000 pounds of crawfish and other Cajun dishes created by Cotton Culinary Executive Chef Wade Schindler. Music filled the air with performances by Cooper Wade and William Clark Green, and were streamed on a 10 x 20 foot LED screen suspended next to the stage. Cotton Foundation hosted its second annual sporting clay tournament on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at American Shooting Centers in Houston, Texas. 25 teams of 101 shooters raised $47,740 to support Cotton Foundation’s mission of Restoring Hope. The day started off bright and brisk, and after all shooters had completed the 10-station course, guests enjoyed a BBQ lunch catered by Cotton Culinary. Unable to host traditional fundraising events due to the Covid virus lockdown, Cotton Foundation held a naturally socially distanced event at American Shooting Centers on Friday, July 10, 2020. An eager 32 teams comprised of 128 shooters raised $79,905 to support Cotton Foundation’s post-disaster Restoring Hope and Local Impact initiatives. Despite the heat advisory, shooters enjoy a morning of busting clays followed by an outdoor lunch with cool beverages. This inaugural event was a huge success and represented Cotton Foundation’s growth in branching out to new communities in need.

The Cotton Team gathered all of our friends for the annual Cotton Foundation CrawFest earlier this month at Cotton’s world headquarters in Katy, Texas. The event, now in its tenth consecutive year, raises funds for the Cotton Foundation and Taylor’s Place, a retreat for families who are affected by cancer.
