Cotton Foundation accepts monetary donations for community initiatives, general operating support, and fundraising events. We are grateful for the support of our donors, as it makes the work of Cotton Foundation possible.

As a general rule, charitable gifts are not refundable. If the purpose for which a gift cannot be fulfilled, the Cotton Foundation will redirect donations to general operating support or a purpose that most closely resembles the donor’s stated purpose. Where possible, the donor will be consulted.

Refunds will only be made in the event of a mistake or if the purpose for which the gift is given cannot be fulfilled by the Cotton Foundation. In such instances, the donor must request a refund of their donation within the same calendar year of the original donation. The refund will be issued in the same form of payment the donation was made, within 30 days of the request. Donors who receive refunds have the responsibility of correcting any tax filings they have made reflecting the refunded amount.
