Cotton Foundation would like to thank every healthcare professional for their hard work and selfless attitude during these trying times. Your ability to care for others and bring them hope and a smile, even on the longest of shifts, is admirable and truly appreciated.

On September 19, 2019, Tropical Storm Imelda landed in southeast Texas and quickly became the fifth wettest rainfall event in the country. The City of Beaumont alone reported that 1,818 homes and 199 commercial buildings were flooded in the storm.
Among the 199 affected buildings was the Goodyear Chemical Plant, which had to be shut down after receiving 42 inches of rain in 24 hours. Located just outside of Beaumont, the plant employs over 600 residents of the area, 43 of which were personally affected by the floods.

The Cotton Foundation and Cotton Global Disaster Solutions, a service provider to the Greater Houston YMCA Association, are proud supporters of the Miracle League of the Langham Creek YMCA in Houston, Texas. The Miracle League provides “opportunities for children with disabilities to play Miracle League baseball, our National pastime, regardless of their abilities”.

The Cotton Foundation was proud to support our friends at Jamie's Hope 7th Annual Golf Tournament for a Cure; an event in memory of Jamie Gillmore. The mission of Jamie’s Hope is to “support personalized medicine research at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, helping those directly affected by cancer, and raising awareness on cancer prevention and early detection.”

The Cotton Team gathered all of our friends for the annual Cotton Foundation CrawFest earlier this month at Cotton’s world headquarters in Katy, Texas. The event, now in its tenth consecutive year, raises funds for the Cotton Foundation and Taylor’s Place, a retreat for families who are affected by cancer.
